RSI Lugano

The radio station RSI in Lugano (Ticino) is responsible for the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland within the framework of the Swiss television SRG. In 3 studios specific programs for the region are produced with news, magazines and entertainment.

In Studio 2 with 210m² and Studio 4 with 140m² floor space, 2017 and 2018 CYCLO-LED backlights were installed. In Studio 2, a projection surface with film transmission of 180m² at a height of 5m and in Studio 4 of 140m² at a height of 4.5m is illuminated with RGB LEDs.

The design variety with the CYCLO LED backlight, the reduction of cost for decorative elements and the additional useability as a green box surface have convinced RSI of the advantages of this technology.
